In our business we live according to the motto “What cannot be achieved by one person can be achieved by many”, and are taking the sense of community to the outside world through numerous social initiatives as well as upholding it within the company. For 75 years our members have been passing the company down through the generations and every profit made has been invested in Gerätewerk Matrei to secure our common path, for our employees, business partners and members.
Our cooperative association is a union of active employees who, within the company, would like to assume responsibility for other employees. After being in the company for 5 years every employee can apply to join the cooperative association. A social and entrepreneurial attitude represents an important factor in this.
Our values are also shared by our customers and partners such as, for instance, Bora, Miele, V-Zug, Fissler, with whom we have been working for decades. Their owners and directors are outstanding individuals who do not just appreciate our philosophy and way of working, they also encourage it. To them, sustainable and flexible production in Matrei is very important and their forward-looking thinking and action is adding strength to our DACH Region. Together we are achieving sustainability objectives and creating jobs in the region.
